Radiesse in Scottsdale Arizona from Beautify Spa smoothes facial lines, wrinkles, and deeper facial creases while stimulating the skin's natural collagen production, creating a more youthful framework with added fullness. Results are immediate and can last a year or more.
RADIESSE® is a dermal filler that is used for smoothing moderate to severe facial wrinkles & folds, such as nasolabial folds, which are the creases that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth.
RADIESSE® is also used for correcting volume loss in the back of the hands.
RADIESSE® Wrinkle Filler
Radiesse® is a biocompatible, non-toxic, non-allergenic filler that reduces skin folds and replaces skin volume. Popular for its long lasting results, some Radiesse® benefits should be evident for months, if not years. Radiesse® is an Injectable solution of a calcium hydroxyl compound suspended in a gel. This calcium compound can be injected directed into the area requiring filling and volume treatment. This compound infiltrates into the skin and remains evident for longer periods of time than Hyaluronic fillers. There is some evidence that Radiesse® stimulates your own body's collagen, thus resulting in more natural correction.
The hydroxylapatitite in Radiesse® takes on the characteristics of the surrounding tissue, ensuring that it remains soft and pliable in the skin. Radiesse® does not get reabsorbed into the skin as readily as do other fillers, due to its "calcium" base.
Healthy young skin contains collagen that gives it volume, flexibility and strength. As part of the aging process, your own natural collagen breaks down, diminishing facial volume. This loss of elasticity and volume results in the wrinkles, facial lines and skin laxity that rob your skin of its youthful appearance. Lines, creases and wrinkles no longer need to have a prominent place on your face…or your body. Today, more people are looking for a way to fight signs of premature aging and there have never been more choices and options for Injectable filler treatments. While many look to the convenience, economy and positive results of available fillers, perhaps nothing is as exciting and as long lasting as Radiesse®.
The RADIESSE Wrinkle Filler Difference:
You can ask your Doctor about the RADIESSE treatment option that significantly improves comfort. Because treatment with RADIESSE wrinkle filler is simple, quick, and comfortable with immediate visible results that last, more and more people are discovering that it is the natural choice for maintaining a more youthful appearance.

RADIESSE® Wrinkle Filler - Outcomes
For optimal treatment outcomes, Radiesse® should be used in areas needing volume that do not require topical surface muscular contraction. Cheek-hollow lifts with Radiesse® have recently been perfected, and you can once again, have the high cheek, full skinned face of youth. Our most popular results with Radiesse® have been with cheek lifts, chin augmentation and youth-enhancing hands' treatments.
The Radiesse® treatments are relatively pain-free as our treatment staff will insure that your skin sensitivity will be diminished by our carefully compounding numbing creams. And the Radiesse® solution itself is compounded with numbing agents immediately prior to your treatment.
"Heavenly Hands" are available by combining Radiesse® injections, plumping out the skin in a long lasting manner, along with IPL treatments for age spots and discolorations. We may recommend skin plumping and skin bleaching creams to maintain these youthful results.
Enhanced Comfort with the NEW Radiesse+
Merz Aesthetics is proud to introduce Radiesse® PLUS with 0.3% Integral Lidocaine as a new addition to our robust product portfolio. Now FDA approved, Radiesse® PLUS Injectable implant is an opaque dermal filler containing a small quantity of local anesthetic (lidocaine), shown to reduce pain related to the injection. Radiesse® PLUS temporarily adds volume by helping to smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds-the creases that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth.
What should I tell my doctor before using RADIESSE® or RADIESSE® PLUS?
Tell your health care provider if you are taking blood thinners or medicines that can interfere with the clotting of blood, such as aspirin or warfarin. These medicines might make it more likely that you will experience bruising or bleeding at the injection site. Tell your health care provider if you have any diseases, injuries or disabilities of the hand, if you have a history forming large, raised scars or if you have had any other skin treatments such as skin peels.
What are the most common adverse events with RADIESSE® or RADIESSE® PLUS?
The most common adverse events seen in clinical studies of RADIESSE® used in the hands include bruising, redness, swelling, pain, itching, nodules or bumps/lumps, difficulty performing activities, loss of sensation and other local side effects. The most common adverse events seen in clinical studies of RADIESSE® or RADIESSE® (+) used in the face include bruising, redness, swelling, pain, itching and other local side effects.
- To avoid bruising it is best not to take any pain relievers that are blood thinners such as aspirin, Advil, Motrin, or Vitamin E. Avoid alcohol for a few days before and after treatment since it too is a blood thinner.
- Do not use Radiesse if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are allergic to any of its ingredients, or suffer from any neurological disorders.
- Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing or the use of hair removal cream on the area to be treated.
- Avoid the use of Vitamin C cream, Glycolic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acids higher than 10% and avoid Retinoids.
- Avoid exposure to the sun.
- Inform your clinician if you have a history of Perioral Herpes to receive advice on antiviral therapy prior to treatment.
- Always inform your clinician of all medications you may be taking as well as your medical history.
